Aesthetic Splash! 2015

Jul 31, 15 Aesthetic Splash! 2015

Knead, knead, knead! Boom, boom, boom! We ended our Term 2 with the fun-filled Aesthetic Splash! This programme was held across the last week of Term 2 with Art and Music activities. My friends and I participated in all of these activities and we had so much fun.

First, we tried our hands at the Jumping Clay. It was fun kneading the clay and it reminded us of the PAL lessons that we used to have when we were in Primary 1. Next, we did Marbling Paper Art. It was amazing to see the different colours turning into beautiful patterns on the paper. I showed my creation to my parents and they said that it was  a good method for us to make self-made wrapping papers. I think my mum is going to try it for Christmas!

What about Music activities? Well, I tried the Glass Xylophones and managed to play a simple tune. It was fascinating that we could play different pitch by putting different amount of water in the glass. My classmates tried to create music by hitting on pots, bottles and drums. We also played a rhythmic games conducted by Master Teacher,  Mdm Suriati from STAR unit in Academy of Star Teachers (AST) with songs “Cho-co-Latte” and “Funga Alfia”.

Beside enjoying myself in these activities, I also appreciated the Ukulele Performances put up by  some of our P4 pupils during recess time. I think they did a great job!

As what others say, all good things come to an end. Though Aesthetics Splash! 2015 has ended, my interest for Art and Music will be here to stay!
